Description
I was responsible for character design and concept art for various characters for the show during my time at Charuvi Design Labs. Created by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang and Charuvi Agrawal along with Graphic India it was the most streamed animated show on Disney + Hotstar that year.

Sūrpaṇakhā - Ravana’s Sister
With more than a few episodes dedicated to her lust for revenge & control over the forest, she was one of the key characters in the script.

Indrajeet - Ravana's Son
"Meghanada", also referred to by his epithet Indrajeet, 'conqueror of Indra', was the crown prince of Lanka, who conquered Indraloka (Heaven). Did some early stage explorations & charcater design on him, although the final approach was different, here are some screenshots from the show.
While Surpanakha & Indrajeet were some of my favorite characters to work on, below are a few others I helped create.

Danava - The One Eyed Monster
This character features in SE01-EP06 called Darkness Rises as this 'Danava' would be the first woe that teaches our protagonists teamwork?

Jambavanta - King of Bears
He guides the Vararas in the search for the princess 'Sita'.

Trijata
In the Ramayana, Trijata appears as a wise old rakshasi, who dreams of Ravana's destruction and the victory ohe husband of Sita who wages war against Ravana to rescue Sita.

Vibhishana
Prince Vibhishana is portrayed as a pious and pure of heart in the epic. After performing a penance to invoke a boon from Brahma, he begged the deity to always set his mind on the path to righteousness, and nothing more. Here he helps out the protagonist Hanuman.

Surasa
Surasa also Siras, who is described as the mother of the nagas (serpents). She is tasked to test the god Hanuman on his way to Lanka.
